On November 10, the Chairman of the Studies and Economic Media Center (SEMC), Mustafa Nasr, held a meeting with the Director General of the Planning and International Cooperation Office in Marib Governorate, Eng. Saleh Al-Saqqaf, to discuss avenues for joint cooperation between the office and the Center in promoting sustainable development in the governorate.
The meeting, attended by the SEMC’s Executive Manager, Mohammed Ismail, focused on mechanisms for developing strategic plans and visions to support sustainable development in Marib, as well as providing technical and advisory support to enhance institutional planning and development efficiency.
Both parties emphasized the importance of partnership in developing initiatives and projects that contribute to improving the quality of public services and boosting institutional performance to meet local community needs and enhance economic stability in the governorate.
It is worth mentioning that the SEMC has presented numerous policy papers and economic studies, most notably a diagnostic study of the economic reality in Marib, in addition to preparing an investment opportunities bulletin that highlights the potential available in the governorate of Marib.
